About me

I’m a Swedish writer who works independently in writing, translating (Swedish-English-Swedish), proofreading, editing, photography and, occasionally, graphic design. I live in Östersund, Sweden, but thanks to the web we can work together regardless of geography.

I suspect that you don’t care much where I went to school, but for the record I have a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s in communication. I published my first book, Lattefarsan, in 2009, and my second one, Fjällbastu, in 2011. Since longer than I like to admit I am working on my third, which is going to be about human rights.

In 2019 I put my one-man freelance company Thymallus to rest. Thymallus is latin for the fish that shares my last name – Harr. (In English, the fish is called grayling.) I still live by the five values that defined Thymallus – fairness, integrity, compassion, joy and quality. If you object to any of these, we probably shouldn’t work together.

Otherwise – drop me a line so we can get in touch!
